Halo Lit
Halo lit channel letters use LED backlighting with an acrylic panel attached at the rear to produce an eye-catching “halo” effect around each letter, creating a soft yet less bright illumination than front lit letters, making them an excellent option for building signage.
Signs made of polycarbonate can be customized using colored vinyl decals or with translucent vinyl for enhanced halo illumination. Furthermore, standard aluminum colors or corrosion-resistant materials like powder coated stainless steel may also be chosen as material options for their backsides.
These signs come equipped with a paper template for installation, cable holes marked on the sign itself, 1:1 scale paper mounting patterns, power driver and plug, optional accessories like studs, spacers silicones VHB tape and hammer drill. Fabricated Aluminum
Fabricated channel letters are 3-dimensional graphic sign pieces created from flat sheets of metal – typically aluminum as it won’t rust – using computer controlled routers for precise cutting. Once cut, sides are attached by welding, flanging or riveting or tied using galvanized or stainless steel wire forming “cans”.
Acrylic faces are custom painted and fitted onto cans before being illuminated using LED’s that use much less power than neon tubes, creating highly visible letters day or night that draw customers’ attention to your business.
Letters may either be front lit or halo lit; front lit letters will light up character faces while providing a halo effect that’s less overpowering for an ambient glow that won’t dominate. Halo lit letters require additional power packs for installation.
