The first new Pitfire locations will be in Woodland Hills and Orange, coming in the last half of 2022. The Woodland Hills location, in the former Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern, will take up 5,000 square feet of space at The Village at Westfield Topanga, with a large island bar, indoor and outdoor seating.

The Orange Pitfire Pizza will be set into Stadium Promenade near the Honda Center and Angel Stadium. It will be 4,500 square feet with 1,500 square feet of patio space and a full bar. This will be Pitfire Pizza’s second Orange County location; its sister restaurant in Costa Mesa has its own speakeasy, Pie Society.

In early 2023, Pitfire Pizza will open a Carlsbad location at The Beacon La Costa with a full bar and 3,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining, and a San Pedro restaurant with a full bar, 3,500 square feet of indoor dining and a 1,200 square foot patio in the West Harbor development.

The original Pitfire Pizza opened in 1997 in the North Hollywood Arts District and the brand continues to expand. Besides Costa Mesa, the chains other SoCal locations are in Manhattan Beach, Mar Vista, Pasadena and West L.A.

“This growth represents a next chapter in the Pitfire story, one that could not have been started without the achievements of so many great leaders and efforts,” says Jeff Goodman, CEO of the parent company, American Gonzo Food Corporation.

The restaurants serve 12 sourdough crust pizzas and offer a create-your-own pie option with vegan and gluten-free choices like house made vegan cheese and cauliflower crust. More information: pitfirepizza.com.
