Work has begun on a new In-N-Out drive-thru in Huntington Beach

A new In-N-Out Burger drive-thru is coming to Huntington Beach.

Construction has begun on the restaurant at 7902 Edinger Ave., Mike Abbate, assistant vice president for real estate and development for the Irvine-based chain, confirmed in an email.

The building was formerly a Wells Fargo Bank branch west of Beach Boulevard.

The project entered the City Hall approval pipeline in the winter of 2021, but the location was only recently added to In-N-Out’s “Coming Soon” page on its website.

Abbate said that once construction begins, it usually takes seven to eight months to build and open a restaurant.

In-N-Out is also working on restaurants at 115 Via Pico Plaza, San Clemente and 1809 N. Tustin Ave., Santa Ana, according to its webstie.
