Orange County Sheriff’s Department officials were investigating a shooting that injured two people in a residential neighborhood in Stanton on Tuesday.
Deputies were called at 7:20 p.m. to the 7700 block of Lessue Avenue, west of Beach Boulevard and north of Chapman Avenue, for a reported shooting and found two victims with gunshot wounds in the street, said OCSD Lt. William Longan. The two victims were taken to a hospital.
Information on the victims or their conditions was not immediately available.
No suspects had been arrested Tuesday evening, and information on motive for the shooting was not known while deputies continued their investigation into the night.
