For it 20th year, the Broadway in the Park program has been entertaining audiences under the stars with its production of “The Wizard of Oz.”

Shows continue through Saturday, Aug. 6. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at approximately 7:45 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at tacfa.org. The 30-year-old fine arts group subsidizes a variety of art programs in the community and Tustin schools.

Audience members can lay out a picnic or there is food for sale, kids can play in a fun zone and the actors hang out after the show for an autograph session.

Playing the wizard is Barry Pearl, known for his role in “Grease” as on of the T-Birds, and Lauren Samuels, a veteran of the stage, is Glinda the Good Witch. Adding to the performance is a 20-by-40-foot video projection wall added this year behind the actors.

“We have pulled out all the stops for our 20th Broadway in the Park and it is guaranteed to be a spectacular show every night,” co-chair Cathy Crair said.
