Ticked off! @congested Florida

I’m ticked off at the department store ads showing back to school clothes with bare midriffs.  Do they think that is allowed under any dress code?

To the reader ticked off at the absence of TV coverage for the Little League World Series in Williamsport. Duh! It had to start before they could put it on TV, regional games are complete, LLWS began Aug. 19. Enjoy. We’ve been watching for years!

Where is Joe Maddon? I believe he needs to return to the Tampa Bay Rays. Kevin Cash has become questionable in his decisions!

Stores, please repair your buggies! A lot of them just don’t move! I’m tired of trying to maneuver through the aisles with a bumpy buggy with the wheels stuck. I always seem to get them too!

It’s too bad Florida is so congested. It used to be fun to go places. Now everything is crowded and traffic is a nightmare. Yet, they continue to tear down trees and slap up homes as fast as they can. Developers leave with the profits and we have the problems and higher taxes, utilities and congestion on the roads.

Tell me why bikers have to ride on a busy main highway when there are beautiful bike trails all over the area? If you want to risk your life, at least ride in the bike lane on the roads. Suck in that pollution while you’re at it too

I wish my neighbor would take care of her pool pump. It has been loud for months, and we have politely told her we have noticed it and that she needs to have it checked as it might be going bad. Nothing. It’s by our bedroom and she runs it at night. She is on the other side of the house so she does not hear it or care. At least run it during the day so we can sleep in peace!

The flip side

Many thanks from Sunland and Northlake Village residents to Charlie W. and his team at Seminole County Traffic, and the FDOT, for finally activating the permissive (flashing) amber left turn signal at the entrances to our respective neighborhoods.
