A parade of pride wound through downtown Santa Ana.
The city is playing host to Orange County’s largest celebration of Pride Month on Saturday, June 25. After the morning parade that kicked off at Ross and Third streets, a festival continues the celebration of OC’s LGBTQ community into the evening. There are concerts, community-building activities and art exhibits going on.
This was the first time in two years the parade and festival were held in person, and after the pandemic-forced hiatus, Orange County LGBT Pride organizers said the event returned even bigger than before.
The organizers of this year’s OC Pride also joined forces with the LGBTQ Center of Orange County to include more local organizations in the celebration.
