Football standouts Vaka and Hoi Hansen are returning to the Trinity League.
The brothers, expected to be major contributors at Los Alamitos this fall, have enrolled at St. John Bosco, they confirmed over the weekend.
Last season, the Hansens helped Servite beat St. John Bosco 40-21 in the semifinals en route to a runner-up finish to Mater Dei in the CIF-SS Division 1 finals.
News of their transfer to Los Alamitos surfaced in January.
Vaka (6-2, 305) is a two-way senior tackle who earned second-team All-County honors last season. Hoi (6-1, 215) is a junior linebacker and running back.
The brothers are second and third high-profile players to leave Los Alamitos for St. John Bosco in recent weeks. In June, senior wide receiver Deandre Moore Jr. of Los Alamitos joined the Braves.
Los Alamitos also has received transfers from St. John Bosco the past couple of seasons.
Last season, the Braves defeated the Griffins 63-38 in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs.
Los Alamitos is scheduled to open fall practice on Monday.
