Coachella 2022: Baby Keem brings out Kendrick Lamar for the festival’s second weekend

Baby Keem brought out a very special guest to his Sahara Tent set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 15.

Speculation began when the Instagram account for Kendrick Lamar’s company pgLang posted several photos of Baby Keem, Lamar and Tanna Leone about 30 minutes before Baby Keem’s performance with the caption “ppLang coachella.”

Baby Keem, who recently won a Grammy for best rap performance, was one of the up-and-coming hip-hop performers at the festival. The crowd was packed in for two shows in advance by fans wanting to catch a glimpse of him.

Lamar did appear with Keem, a little over 30 minutes into his set to roaring applause. The rappers, both in all black ensembles, performed together for the final two songs including “family ties.” Lamar wore shiny, silver boots and a bucket hat as well.

This story is developing and will be updated.
