Makayla Medellin, Yorba Linda, Sr., Medellin went 3 for 4 with three home runs to lead the Mustangs to a pair of victories at the Santa Fe tournament on Saturday.
Brynne Nally, Pacifica, So., P: Nally scattered four hits and struck out five in a 4-1 victory against Los Alamitos.
Zoe Prystajko, Huntington Beach, So., P: The left-hander struck out a school-record 20 batters in a 1-0 victory in eight innings against Clovis at the Clovis Lead-Off Classic.
Danica Silvestri, Rosary, Jr., Utl.: Silvestri delivered a game-winning single to lead the Royals to a 2-1 win against Arroyo Grande in the finals of the Simi Valley tournament.
Reece Uehara, Mission Viejo, Fr., P: Uehara fired a no-hitter in a 10-0 victory against Edison in a nonleague game.
