In a lot of ways it was an unusual night — high school football in March? — but Friday night was about as normal as anything that has happened in the past year.
High school teams suited up and played games — real games — under the lights and their fans were able to sit in the stands and watch.
The weather was even fall-like, just the way it was supposed to be months ago.
It was a night to remember for a lot of people, and you can check it all out with the comprehensive coverage from the Southern California News Group.
Here are the highlights …
GAME OF THE NIGHT
La Habra defeats Chaminade in the “Impromptu Bowl 2021” — maybe the game that is the best example of what can be done in this shortened spring season.
