Three UCLA gymnasts finished their 2021 season competing in the second session of the NCAA Championships semifinals on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas.

Freshman Chae Campbell participated in the all-around, finishing eighth spurred by a career-high-tying 9.925 on the balance beam, which was good for fourth. The three-time All-American also was fifth in floor exercise with a 9.9375.

Nia Dennis closed out her Bruins career with a Yurchenko double full on the vault, scoring a 9.7875 (tied for 27th).

Junior Margzetta Frazier competed on the uneven parallel bars, tying for 12th with a 9.875.

The trio was competing individually since UCLA didn’t qualify as one of the eight semifinalists.

Oklahoma and Utah, which narrowly outpointed LSU and Alabama, moved on from the second semifinal. They will compete Saturday against Michigan and Florida, which edged Cal and Minnesota in the first semifinal earlier Friday, in the NCAA championship (12:30 p.m., ABC).
