Channel letters with led lights are an effective way to make your business visible after dark. While this form of signage has become especially popular with restaurants, it can also be utilized by any type of business operating after-hours.

SloanLED provides LED lighting products compatible with each style of illuminated channel letters – Front Lit, Reverse Lit and Halo-Lit.

Front-Lit

Front-lit channel letters are one of the most sought-after types of illuminated signage, featuring LED illumination that’s visible from its front face and customizable illumination options to your exact specifications – they can illuminate a single color or multiple colours depending on your preference, making these signs ideal for businesses wanting to make an eye-catching statement that grabs people’s attention when passing by.

To create this type of sign, an aluminum sheet is cut using a router into the shape of a letter and bent to match its shape using computer-driven bending and shaping machines. Once attached back onto its return, forming an enclosed “can,” an acrylic face can then be cut to fit within and fastened with trim caps.

Signs like these are often found in indoor malls and outdoor plazas, making it the ideal solution for businesses wanting to draw attention to their name or logo and are available in multiple font and color combinations.

Reverse-Lit

Halo channel letters, sometimes referred to as backlit channel letters, feature backlighting that creates an eye-catching halo effect around your business name or logo. Ideal for more refined companies that wish to stand out from competitors with elegance and distinction, these signs add another level of distinction that help set them apart.

As with standard channels, three-dimensional channels are assembled out of three-dimensional graphics sign elements that may incorporate LED bulbs. Once installed in the back of the sign, these bulbs illuminate its clear Lexan face using cut vinyl graphics that can be customized by coloring.

LED lighting illuminates letter faces from behind, reflecting off of plastic to produce the halo effect that draws our gaze. This effect may become more obvious depending on where your sign is mounted or mounted close together LEDs are placed; also available are various colored bulbs to help make your business’s branding stand out more.

Halo-Lit

Halo-lit channel letters are a stylish choice that are often found on high-end businesses, offering sophistication and class to their surroundings. Ideal for businesses that wish to make their brand memorable during nighttime hours.

These signs are constructed with aluminum faces and returns, translucent acrylic backers and LED light sources – each piece can be colored to complement its sign face’s colors or created a unique halo effect. Multiple rich stainless finishes are available as well as five LED colors to illuminate them with.

Removable backs are integrated into each fabricated letter to enable professional service of LED modules. Each sign comes complete with a paper template indicating installation/cable holes location as well as driver, plug, and installation accessories for ease of installation and servicing. Ideal for indoor/outdoor use; can either be wall-mounted or installed on raceway for free-floating effect.

Double-Lit

Front-lit channel letters illuminate each letter of a company name or logo to convey a visible message to customers, making your brand more noticeable at night and increasing foot traffic. Furthermore, this sign type is more budget-friendly than back lit channels.

Hybrid or double-lit channels combine traditional front illumination with back “halo” illumination for a unique, sophisticated appearance that sets it apart from other illuminated signs on the street.

Trim caps are pieces of acrylic or aluminum used to bind the return and face of channel letter signs together, providing protection from damage while helping them hold their shape. Customizable to match brand colors of companies, these channel letter signs are popularly seen in shopping malls, retail stores, and other commercial establishments.
