LOS ANGELES — The tension between the Dodgers and San Francisco Giants remains strong regardless of the game or situation.

Former Giants outfielder Hunter Pence ignored the constant boos from the fans at Dodger Stadium on Saturday night, hitting a pair of home runs and leading Team Brooklyn to a 15-13 victory over Team Los Angeles in the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.

Pence provided his team with the first lead of the game, hitting a home run off of former Dodgers outfielder Andre Either and revealing the Giants’ shirt he had under his jersey. Pence was hit by one of Either’s prior pitches, which drew a positive reaction from the Dodger fans.

Pence jokingly attempted to charge at “Breaking Bad” actor Bryan Cranston, after being hit by another pitch. Pence responded in similar fashion, hitting his second home run to give Team Brooklyn another lead.

Despite Pence’s performance, the fans were asked to decide between him and The Miz of WWE for the Most Valuable Player Award. Another round of boos denied the outfielder of the award.

The Miz told the Southern California News Group before the game that he was “going to have fun” but he was “going to take the game very seriously,” despite the light-hearted nature that comes with any celebrity game.

“I want to win,” The Miz said. “I want to do well and have a good time.”

Pence continued to play the spoiler, making a catch at the wall to deny former Angels great Vladimir Guerrero Sr. of a home run. Guerrero was brought out as one of two surprise pinch hitters for recording artist Bad Bunny.

Boston Red Sox great David Ortiz was brought out as the pinch hitter for Bad Bunny’s second at-bat. It wasn’t until the Puerto Rican rapper’s third at-bat that he took a swing, picking up a single.

Bad Bunny was the crowd favorite with his jerseys and apparel easy to spot in the crowd.

The time between batters served as a singalong for the crowd, many of whom enjoyed shouting tunes by Bad Bunny and many others, with the help of a live DJ, which made it hard for spectators to remain seated.

Team captain and Olympic softball gold medalist Jennie Finch was brought in as Team Brooklyn’s closer to protect the lead and secure the victory.

Finch was one of three Olympic gold medalists to compete in the game, along with UCLA alumni Lisa Fernandez and Natasha Watley.

“It’s like we are sisters and that’s the thing about it, we can go years without talking but we spend a chunk of our life together in a different country,” Watley said. “We have so many memories together.”

YouTube personality JoJo Siwa and comedian Guillermo Rodriguez were among the other fan favorites during the game.

Siwa found redemption after missing a pair of catches early in the game with a two-run home run that helped Team Los Angeles tie the score at 10 in the third inning.

Rodriguez had an RBI that helped put Team Los Angeles ahead briefly.
