A 20-year-old man who was out of jail one day carjacked, kidnapped and raped a woman in Placentia, according to a criminal complaint.
Lizandro Diaz Salgado was charged with eight counts, including rape, sexual penetration by a foreign object, kidnapping, carjacking and criminal threats, court records show.
On Monday, he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of contempt of court for disobeying a court order on July 30 and Aug. 4 and was sentenced to eight days in jail.
He was given credit for time served and released Monday.
Salgado is accused of attacking the woman on Tuesday.
In September, he pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of disobeying a court order and was sentenced to six months in jail, records show.
Salgado also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of assault with a firearm in December 2019 and was sentenced to 180 days in jail and ordered to participate in a treatment program.
He was being held without bail as of Friday, Placentia police said.
