SANTA ANA — A man was critically wounded in a shooting Monday night in Santa Ana.
Officers responded about 8:35 p.m. to the 200 block of South Sullivan Street, near the Fairview Mobile Home Park south of First Street, where they found the victim down with a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to Cmdr. A. Alvarez of the Santa Ana Police Department.
The victim was in critical condition when he was taken to a hospital by Orange County Fire Authority paramedics, Alvarez said.
A motive for the shooting and description of any suspect were not immediately available.
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
