The second Easter Sunday during the novel coronavirus pandemic brings more dining options than last year.
With indoor dining rooms currently open at 25% capacity throughout Southern California, many chain restaurants will serve traditional or special Easter menus for dine-in on April 4.
But many will be offering family meals to-go that can be heated and served at home.
Here is a sampling of what’s out there from chains with more than one location in Southern California. Most require pre-ordering, so check websites for deadlines and pickup times.
Black Angus Steakhouse: Easter Prime Rib Family Meal serves four for $99 and includes prime rib with three kinds of horseradish, mashed potatoes or rice pilaf, broccoli, molasses bread and chocolate chip cookies. Pick up April 3-4. blackangus.com

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Heat-and-serve feasts for four to six people include ham for $89.99 and prime rib for $129.99. They include mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and two sides. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: Easter at Home heat-and serve meal includes 32-ounce Fillet Wellington, mashed potatoes, salad and sides for $300. It serves four to six people. Order by April 1 to pick up April 2-4. flemingssteakhouse.com
Honey Baked Ham Co.: Easter feast costs $129.95 and feeds 14-16 people with 7 pounds of ham, green beans, cheesy potatoes and carrot cake. honeybaked.com
Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: An Easter Family Supper feeds four to six people and costs $119-$129. It includes sliced ham with Coca-Cola glaze, two racks of baby back ribs, two half chickens and four sides.
