Cars line up to fill up on Girl Scout cookies

Girl Scouts have been getting creative with this year’s selling season falling during a pandemic.

They’ve made their sales pitches over social media, they are taking orders online for their sweet product and Saturday they held a “mega” drive-thru at Angel Stadium.

The event also highlighted the Scout’s Cookie Share program where people can purchase boxes to be designated for service members in the military, local food banks or other charitable organizations such as Delivering with Dignity, which delivers meals made by local restaurants to people who can’t get out and was the beneficiary of Saturday’s event.
