Aaron Kromer has become the seventh assistant coach to leave the Rams since the end of the season.
In what was described as a mutual parting, Kromer, 53, is out after four years on Coach Sean McVay’s staff, the past three as run-game coordinator and offensive line coach.
The move was first reported by the New York Daily News, which said Giants assistant offensive line coach Ben Wilkerson interviewed with the Rams.
Leaving the Rams earlier this year were defensive coordinator Brandon Staley (now the Chargers’ head coach), linebackers coach Joe Barry (Lions defensive coordinator), cornerbacks coach Aubrey Pleasant (Lions secondary coach), pass-game coordinator Shane Waldron (Seahawks offensive coordinator), assistant offensive line coach Andy Dickerson (Seahawks run-game coordinator) and assistant quarterbacks coach Liam Coen (University of Kentucky offensive coordinator).
The Rams moved special teams coordinator John Bonamego to the role of senior coaching assistant.
Raheem Morris and Joe DeCamillis were hired as defensive and special teams coordinators, but other replacements haven’t been named.
Kromer’s son, Zak, remains the Rams’ offensive quality control assistant.
