A pedestrian remained hospitalized Tuesday, Feb. 16, one day after he was struck in a hit-and-run crash in Garden Grove.
The collision happened at about 10:15 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Westminster Avenue and Dawson Street, Garden Grove police said. The person who was hit was seriously injured, and was in “critical but stable condition” as of Tuesday evening, GGPD Lt. Carl Whitney said.
Witnesses said the victim may have been struck by a gold-colored vehicle that may have front-end damage, but were unable to provide further details, Whitney said. No arrests were announced in connection with the crash as of Tuesday.
Anyone with information about the collision should call Garden Grove police at 714-741-5704.
The crash on Westminster and Dawson happened at almost the same time as a separate crash in Garden Grove on West Street, which left one person dead and three others injured.
